About the Role

Flinders Private Hospital - Registered Nurses - Cardiac Services

  • Able to work across a 7-day roster with mix of shifts

  • Full-time and Part-time positions available

We are seeking to recruit highly motivated Registered Nurses with extensive experience in cardiac nursing.  Cardiac Services encompasses a 31-bed ward, specialising in medical cardiology, interventional cardiology, arrhythmia management and cardio-thoracic surgery.  We also have a 6-bed Coronary Care Unit and a direct access 10-bed 24/7 Cardiac Emergency Centre which caters for all cardiac conditions.

About the role:

  • Previous cardiac experience (Graduate Diploma and ALS desirable)

  • Current South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance

  • Current AHPRA Registration

  • Ability to lead by example, demonstrating the professionalism and culture of Flinders Private Hospital

  • Committed to continuous quality improvement

  • Committed to provision of quality nursing care, education and customer service

  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills

     

  • Demonstrated understanding of National Safety and Quality Service Standards, ACHA policies and procedures

  • Proven ability to effectively manage under pressure with competing demands

  • Ability to work flexible hours

  • Positive attitude towards leadership, and potential management skills

  • Salary range $43.85 - $54.89 based on ACHA - Nurses and Midwives - Enterprise Agreement - 2024

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the “Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance (ACHA) & Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) South Australian Branch – Nurses’ & Midwives – Enterprise Agreement - 2024 (‘Agreement’ or ‘Enterprise Agreement’)” (salaries range between $43.86 -$54.90 per hour).
