About the Role

National Engineering & Architectural Services Inc. (NEAS Inc.) is searching for a Professional Surveyor who wants to join our expanding survey department.  Our ideal candidate would have experience with ODOT projects, Microstation, and AutoCAD.  


Founded in 1992 by bridge engineer, Andy Barr, PE, PhD, the company is now doing business as National Engineering & Architectural Services Inc. After more than 25 successful years in business, the name change reflects the firm’s transformation from a 2-person bridge design firm in to a multi-faceted organization dedicated to providing excellence in Surveying, Geotechnical Engineering, Materials Testing, and Inspections services to Engineering and Architectural clients. Growing in all departments, NEAS Inc. is seeking talented and motivated personnel to assist in this pursuit. As a significant and respected part of the company, the survey department is integral to the development goals of NEAS Inc. 


As a Professional Surveyor for NEAS Inc., you'll demonstrate excellent attention to detail throughout the survey process, developing deed work maps, developing base maps, and conducting courthouse research to collect right of way property information. You'll use your knowledge of ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, Topographic Mapping, Courthouse Research, Boundary Surveys, construction layout, and GPS surveys to contribute to the project's success. 



Requirements

 

Experience/Qualifications:

• Ohio Professional Surveyor 

• 5+ Years in Survey Field 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Survey/Engineering 

• MicroStation Experience 

• Must be detail oriented

• Willing to travel as needed, typically not involving overnight stays
