About the Role

Description

Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm


Safety sensitive position is a job or position where the employee holding this position has the responsibility for his/her own safety or other people's safety. An employee has to be with clear mind and diligent while occupying such positions. 


In order to maintain and have an excellent work and living environment for our clients/staff the Maintenance Technician will perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on residential and office buildings, mechanical equipment and utility systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:


1. Assist with renovation, remodeling, minor and major repair of buildings and equipment. 

2. Perform routine maintenance such as repair & replace locks, doorknobs, windows and blinds, changing filters, painting and landscaping, etc. 

3. Assist with supply inventories and filling supply requests.

4. Assist with donation pickups, sorting and distributions.

5. General clean-up of properties, equipment and sometimes units which may include Bio-Hazards.

6. Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required, sometimes after hours.

7. Be alert and inspect for fire/safety issues.

8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. High school diploma/GED.

2. Skilled in the use of hand and power tools is preferred. Must have some hand and power tools.

3. Have a valid Arizona driver's license, good driving record, insurance, and reliable transportation.

4. Interpersonal skills to interact with employees or clients in a pleasant manner at all times.

5. Possess and maintain a valid CPR/First Aid Certification.

6. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., climb stairs & ladders, work overhead, dig, stand, and work in confined spaces.

Pay Rate: $16.24 - $19.44 – $29.86

Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position. Salary placement is typically between the minimum and mid-point of the salary range.
