Are you a data architect who sees beyond individual systems to the bigger picture of how data flows, connects, and creates value? At Our Daily Bread Ministries, we’re more than a global publishing ministry—we’re a Christ-centered team on a mission to make the life-changing wisdom of the Bible understandable and accessible to all. As a Senior Data Architect, you’ll serve as the technical lead for enterprise data architecture, pipelines, and automation, establishing the standards and governance that enable trusted, scalable, and reliable data across the ministry. Your work will help build the data foundation that supports ministry decisions, advanced analytics, AI, and future digital capabilities around the world.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Enterprise Data Architecture: Set technical direction, standards, and priorities for enterprise data pipelines, architecture, automation, and governance.
• Architect Data Solutions: Design and govern scalable end-to-end pipelines, data models, integrations, APIs, and cloud data warehouse solutions.
• Drive Automation & Reliability: Advance orchestration, CI/CD, automated data quality, schema management, and self-healing patterns to improve platform reliability and efficiency.
• Champion Data Governance: Establish standards for data access, security, lineage, metadata, quality, discoverability, and privacy across the data ecosystem.
• Enable Ministry Innovation: Partner with technical and ministry leaders to deliver trusted data solutions that support analytics, AI, machine learning, and future digital capabilities while mentoring data professionals.

What You Bring

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience, with 5–10 years in data engineering, data architecture, or senior data platform roles.
• Data Architecture Expertise: Strong experience designing enterprise-scale pipelines, data models, integrations, and cloud data platforms using technologies such as Snowflake, SQL, dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, and Python.
• Modern Data Integration: Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, event-driven architectures, Azure services, and Salesforce CRM/Marketing Cloud integrations.
• Governance & Leadership: Proven ability to establish data governance, security, RBAC, quality, lineage, metadata, and privacy practices, with strong communication and technical mentoring skills.
• Strategic & Technical Mindset: Ability to translate complex business needs into scalable solutions; experience with Agile delivery and knowledge of CCPA/GDPR. SnowPro, dbt, AWS, or Azure certifications are valued.
