Milk Intake Receiver | 1st Shift
Shift/Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Pay: $24.50/hr.

Position Overview:
Reporting to the Batching Manager, the Milk/Intake Receiver manages incoming shipments, inspects delivered goods, and logs inventory data. This position is also responsible for checking items against purchase orders, sorting freight, and operating equipment like forklifts.
What You'll Do:
- Ensures compliance with Gehl Foods safety standards and applicable regulatory requirements while following the company's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Unloading & Processing: Receive incoming deliveries, trucks, or liquid tankers and transfer materials into storage silos or warehouse bays.
- Testing & Inspection: Check product or shipment temperature, weight, quality composition, and check for damaged goods.
- Documentation: Record weights, measurements, and inventory data on bills of lading or digital tracking systems.
- Sanitation & Safety: Clean and sanitize intake areas, lines, or equipment (CIP processes) while following health regulations.
- Cooler Ingredient Ordering and Organizing (First Expired First Out).
- Collaborate with Batching and Q&A.
- Identify urgent situations and provide immediate support or intervention.
- Ensure cheese orders are properly organized for the upcoming day.
- Monitor and review inventory and production levels to achieve the most efficient operating conditions.
- Maintains assigned work area and production environment in clean orderly condition - completes environmental cleaning requirements as necessary.
- Actively participates in shift exchanges and work team meetings.
- Safely operates forklifts to handle materials and finished goods.
- Other duties as assigned.
