About The Company
Founded in 2008, Roundhouse is a fully integrated developer and operator of multifamily housing. Starting with a single condominium purchased amidst the financial crisis in 2009, we have since developed and acquired a portfolio of over 10,000 multifamily homes. Today, Roundhouse focuses exclusively on providing high quality housing options in emerging cities across the Western United States. We own and operate over $2bn in multi-family communities across 6 states - all with long-term investment horizons. In order to deliver superior experiences to our employees and residents we have built a fully integrated service offering that spans the construction, property management, and design disciplines.
About the Role

Description

Minneapolis, MN · $24–$26/hour · Full-Time · Tuesday-Saturday
Final compensation is based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

People are your superpower.
You remember names, read a room, and know how to turn a frustrated resident into a loyal one. You plan events people actually show up to, follow through on every concern, and bring a warmth and professionalism to the community that residents notice and remember. If that sounds like you, we want to hear from you.

At Roundhouse, our mission is simple and serious: putting humanity into housing. Since 2008 we have grown into a developer and manager of diverse real estate across four states, with more than 10,000 multifamily units and over $2B in assets under management. We got here by building communities people are proud to call home and hiring people who genuinely care about the resident experience.

We are bringing on a Resident Experience Associate to help shape the resident experience across two of our downtown Minneapolis communities. This role is about creating connection and belonging and making sure residents feel seen, heard, and genuinely at home. From thoughtful communication and memorable events to everyday interactions and follow-through, you'll help turn a place people live into a community they feel part of.

What you'll own:
You are a visible presence in the community and a champion of the resident experience. You'll build relationships, create meaningful moments of connection, and help ensure residents feel known, valued, and informed. That means you:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents through consistent, in-person engagement.
  • Get to know residents and what matters to them, bringing a personal and thoughtful approach to everyday interactions.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for resident questions, concerns, and feedback, turning a complaint or conflict into a resolved, even delighted, outcome.
  • Create and execute a thoughtful calendar of resident experiences, events, and opportunities for connection, with approximately five impactful activations per month across the communities.
  • Play an active role in the Roundhouse transition, helping residents feel informed, supported, and excited about what's ahead.
  • Support clear, proactive, on-brand communication to residents across multiple channels.
  • Partner with the onsite and marketing teams to improve communication quality and consistency.
  • Gather resident feedback, identify trends and recurring concerns, and surface opportunities for improvement.
  • Support initiatives focused on improving overall satisfaction, retention, and community experience.
  • Maintain a visible, positive presence throughout the property.
  • Look for opportunities to proactively connect with residents and anticipate their needs rather than waiting for them to come to us.
  • Identify opportunities to create thoughtful moments that make the resident experience feel more personal and connected.
  • Uphold community standards and contribute to a clean, welcoming environment.
  • Navigate challenging or sensitive resident situations with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment.

What you bring:

  • You are hospitality obsessed and constantly looking for ways to promote connection and engagement.
  • One to three years in specialized high-rise experience in leasing or property management, ideally within a high-density, luxury urban development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A high level of emotional intelligence and professionalism.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • The ability to stay composed and effective in high-pressure or sensitive situations.
  • A self-starter mentality: you take initiative and follow through.

What’s in it for you:
This is full-time work with pay, benefits, and perks built around your well-being, your growth, and your sense of community.
