POSITION SUMMARY
The Pacific Club bartender / server is responsible for positive guest interactions while serving our guests in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, our staff is expected to be attentive to our guests’ needs and making them feel comfortable, important, appreciated and relaxed. Bartenders/servers exhibit strong food, beer, liquor and wine knowledge. They prepare mixes and serve drinks directly to our members/guests and also assists in all operations of Dining Rooms / outlets as directed by Dining Room or Banquet Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Supports the overall success of the department by completing tasks relevant to his/her role at the request of his/her team members or any manager
- Adheres to the application of all service standards as outlined in the Food & Beverage Department Manual
- Assures that all state and local laws and club policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages are consistently followed.
- Stocks bar and completes pre-opening and closing duty requirements.
- Prepares and serves alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Skilled at slowing and refusing alcoholic beverage service when necessary.
- Ensure all charge tickets from each shift are executed through our POS efficiently.
- Assist with the Department in maintaining all par levels of beverage and bar inventory by ordering or requisition liquors and supplies
- Servers are work independently with great initiative, while also taking advantage and promoting teamwork.
- Implements the BEO and ensures everything is ready to exceed service and quality expectations
- Work as a team with service staff and bartenders to facilitate food service
- Maintain an acceptable level of knowledge of the P.O.S, current menu choices, specialties and menu modifications options.
- Complies with basic safety and sanitation requirements.
- Knowledgeable of all aspects of department and daily club operations, including events and operating hours
- Adhere to grooming and uniform standards
REPORTS TO: Food & Beverage Director, Assistant Food & Beverage Director, and Dining Room Manager
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Part-Time
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
PAY RANGE
$28 - $32 per hour.

Requirements
Experience
- Minimum of 1–2 years in fine dining. Previous customer service experience a plus.
- Position is part of a tiered role structure.
Required Certification(s)
- Valid Food Handler Certification
- Valid Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and special events.
