Shipping - Dental

Description
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping team member to help ensure dental cases are accurately organized, disinfected, packaged, and delivered or shipped on time. This hands-on, fast-paced role requires someone who is comfortable being on their feet for much of the day, moving between tasks, and keeping cases flowing efficiently. The ideal candidate will bring a positive, customer-service mindset, take pride in getting things done accurately and on time, and understand that their work directly supports customers receiving their cases when promised.
This position reports to the Shipping Lead.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma, GED equivalency, or currently enrolled
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Dental lab, shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred
- Experience handling medical, dental, or customer-sensitive products preferred
- Familiarity with delivery routes, shipping labels, case tracking, or lab software preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and move, lift, and handle cases throughout the day
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to perform well under pressure to meet deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize cases accurately
- Ability to follow disinfecting, packaging, and case handling procedures
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
- Reliable and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Package completed cases for delivery or shipment
- Sort outbound cases by route, doctor, location, or shipping method
- Organize cases to support timely delivery and pickup
- Verify case information before releasing to drivers or carriers
- Ensure cases are packaged safely and professionally
- Disinfect inbound cases before they move to order entry
- Prepare inbound cases for proper case entry and production flow
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping/disinfecting area
- Communicate with customer success, order entry, QC, drivers, and production as needed
- Ability to understand and follow requirements of the quality system procedure as defined in standard operating procedures and work instructions
- Safeguard and protect confidentiality of company and patient information as defined by the company’s Confidentiality Agreement
- Follow all safety requirements and wear appropriate PPE as required
- Understand how one’s performance can impact the success of the organization and product quality
