Job Description

Step into a role where your ideas and curiosity genuinely matter. As a Graduate Engineer, you’ll contribute to real projects from your first week.

You’ll support technical analysis using GIS, water and flood modelling software across a variety of projects from our Brisbane office. Join our dynamic and high-performing Water Resources team for the 2027 Graduate intake!

Key responsibilities

  • Teamwork: you’ll work alongside a variety of specialists, learning how different disciplines come together to deliver successful projects. Building relationships with clients on projects and developing contacts within the industry.
  • Problem Solving: tackle real challenges, think creatively and help shape practical solutions that improve project performance outcomes. Apply diligent curiosity across a variety of analysis and modelling activities.

Qualifications

What do we need from you

  • Graduating prior to commencing full-time work in February 2027
  • Tertiary degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
  • Available to start February 2027
  • Relevant work rights to live and work full-time in Australia. This position is not open to applicants outside of Australia

About you

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow professionally
  • Interest and enthusiasm to work within water resources
  • Detail orientated and analytical
  • Exposure to GIS software, as well as flood modelling and/or water balance modelling is highly regarded.
  • Previous vacation or internship experience within the mining industry, local government or a consulting environment will be highly regarded
