About the Role

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position works under the general supervision of Billing Management. This position is responsible for daily processes that help support the overall efficiency and functionality of the billing department. Daily functions include but are not limited to posting payments, processing charges, printing claims, filing and answering phones. The ability to process data accurately and complete work assignments in a timely manner is required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent education required

2. Minimum of one (1) year experience in medical setting preferred

3. Proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required

4. Experience in Electronic Practice Management/Medical Records system preferred (Nextgen preferred)
