Puritas (Private) Limited

Puritas (Pvt) Ltd is a member of World of Hayleys and a fully owned subsidiary of Haycarb PLC, an environmental engineering company specialized in Water and Wastewater Purification, and Manufacturing of Value-added activated carbon products. Puritas is the leader in providing water and wastewater treatment solutions in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. We have built over 400 treatment plants across Sri Lanka, Maldives, Thailand, Indonesia and Myanmar. The company is engaged in the provision of custom designed water and wastewater purification systems, community and municipal scale water supply and sewerage projects, water and wastewater consultation, and customized operation and maintenance contracts in the same capacity.

Position - Project Manager

Location - Project Sites - Sri Lanka

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate and manage the overall execution of water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects at site.

  • Ensure projects are completed within scope, budget, quality standards and agreed schedule.

  • Supervise and guide Civil, Electrical/Mechanical Engineers and Technical Officers assigned to the project.

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and take timely corrective action to resolve on-site issues.

  • Prepare and present progress reports to Management and stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and quality control procedures at site.

  • Manage procurement, resource allocation and subcontractor performance at site level.

Candidate Profile:

  • BSc Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical or related discipline) with a minimum of 5 years' experience, preferably in construction or water/wastewater treatment projects.

  • Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards Chartership will be an added advantage.

  • Proven experience in leading multi-disciplinary site teams and managing contractors.

  • Strong leadership, planning, decision-making and communication skills.

  • Sound knowledge of project management principles, HSE practices and quality standards.

  • Willingness to be based at project sites across Sri Lanka.
