Job Description

Dermatology Veterinary Nurse (Full Time)

We're looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our Dermatology team. If you're looking for a specialist nursing role with genuine work-life balance, supportive colleagues and no emergency pressure, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll work alongside our specialist dermatologists, assisting with consultations, procedures and ongoing patient care while collaborating closely with our Surgery, Internal Medicine, Imaging and Behaviour teams.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assisting with specialist dermatology consultations and discharges
  • Intradermal allergy testing
  • Assisting with ear flushes, biopsies, laser procedures, CT/MRI and BAER hearing testing
  • Providing compassionate client care and communication
  • Supporting the day-to-day operation of a busy specialist department

About You

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) preferred
  • Minimum 2 years' veterinary nursing experience preferred
  • Confident with patient care and clinical nursing tasks
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team
  • Positive attitude and a good sense of humour

This is a niche veterinary nursing role that combines clinical nursing with a strong focus on client communication, case coordination and administration. It is well suited to nurses who enjoy building relationships with clients, managing ongoing cases and playing an active role in the overall patient experience, alongside hands-on patient care.
