About the Role


SUMMARY Responsible for the overall training, sales and operations of their assigned retail stores. This includes supporting their managers and employees in training, execution of day to day operations, ongoing professional development, and creating a Christ centered environment. They will oversee the hiring and developing of a qualified team, proper execution of Employee Handbook policies and procedures, hitting and exceeding sales goals, and assisting in store-level decision making and guidance to the Retail Managers and Production Managers, as needed. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB 

1. Lead and equip team by being an example of “revealing Christ” to all staff, volunteers, donors, and customers. 

2. Set expectations and support management in the training of all team members. 

3. Coach and mentor managers on how to lead team members in daily devotions, weekly operations meetings, trainings and other team building exercises. 

4. Lead and train Retail Departments in the following:

            a. Proper handling of financials, including cash, checks, credit card statements, etc. 

             b. Oversee the accuracy of the Daily Reconciliation Sales Report, bank deposits, daily sales charts, category sales chart,            donations charts, etc. 

           c. Exceptional guest services and experience that ensures our shoppers will return. 

           d. Organized, clearly communicated and executed volunteer support. 

           e. Work with employees and managers to ensure the physical appearance of the stores is acceptable. This includes clean and organized displays, overall cleanliness, and visual attractiveness.

            f. Support Managers when customer service issues arise or when incident or accident reports arise, to ensure they are reported a and handled properly in a timely manner. 

g. Cultivate an atmosphere of teamwork and high levels of communication related to the relationship of the Processing Department.

 5. Lead and train the Processing Departments in the following: a. Proper handling of donations when they are received. b. Proper pricing that pushes and rises the price per piece to drive sales. c. Exceptional guest services and experience that ensures our donors know they are valued and appreciated. d. Ensure donors are being accurately and properly recorded to create point of contact and increase ability to communicate with them and track donations. e. Maintain a clean and visibly organized receiving area that welcomes donors and communicates we value the donations that we receive. f. Encourage and hold accountable the processing team to reach their daily and weekly production goals.
