Machinist - Level 2

Job Description
Machinist is key position to support Heat Spreader Transfer Die stamping operations.
Main Role & responsibility is to Perform all machining operations like surface grinding, Milling to prepare Spare parts having very tight tolerances to improve tool quality and reduce outsourcing cost.
Key responsibilities.
- Ability to operate Tool room machines like Surface Grinding, Lathe, Drilling, Milling etc. Tooling spare part preparation
- Highly skilled to machine complex profiles & maintain micron level precision.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and inspect machined parts using appropriate measuring tools.
- Able to work in rotating day and night shift and work independently with least supervision.
- Setup and perform regular maintenance of machines to keep them in good condition.
- CNC machining experience is added advantage.
Qualifications.
- Knowledge and experience of press tools, jigs, fixtures manufacturing and maintenance
- Can operate conventional tool room machines like Surface grinding, milling, lathe, drilling etc.
- Can read engineering drawings & understand GD&T
- Can use measuring instruments like micrometer, vernier caliper, Height gauge/master, dial indicator, drop gauges
- CNC milling experience is added advantage
- English reading and understanding are added advantage
- Able to read and write engineering drawings
- Able to work under pressure in rotating shifts
