JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise the implementation of housekeeping standards and procedures in relation to bedroom, bathroom, valet, cleaning, and linen service
- Maintain a current and thorough knowledge of all housekeeping systems
- Open and close the shift and ensure effective shift handover is completed
- Be the Shift-in-Charge and oversee all housekeeping operations during the shift
- Perform room allocations and room inspections
- Monitor the daily inspections of public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met
- Liaise with Front Office and Engineering Department for both guest and hotel requirements
- Co-ordinate special projects (e.g. site rooms, pest control, window and carpet cleaning, room inventories)
- Maintains records and storage of all lost and found items
- Manage storage areas
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by superior or Hotel Management
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE
- Form 6 or above
- Minimum 3 years of housekeeping experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity
- Responsible, well organized, strong leadership skill and a good team player
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese
- Experience in operating housekeeping equipment and basis knowledge of chemicals
