About the Role

HOTEL NAME is currently looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated individual to join our team as a 3rd Shift Guest Service Representative / Night Auditor.


Our Night Auditor is the overnight heartbeat of the hotel—combining guest service, attention to detail, and a touch of problem-solving magic. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys independence, takes pride in accuracy, and understands that even at 2:00 AM, hospitality matters.


Hours: 11pm – 7am Must be available to work weekends and holidays

Guest Experience & Service

  • Welcome late arrivals with a warm, friendly, and professional presence 
  • Assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and overnight requests
  • Answer all incoming and in-house phone calls
  • Ensure guests feel safe, valued, and cared for throughout the night 
  • Handle guest questions or concerns calmly and confidently

 Night Audit & Operations

  • Update all files and reset the system for the following day activity
  • Balance room and market accounts with accuracy
  • Prepare reports for hotel leadership to start the next day strong
  • Ensure the front desk and lobby remain organized and presentable
  • Ability to work while standing for extended periods of time.

Hotel Care & Awareness

  • Conduct routine property walks to maintain safety and security
  • Set up the morning for success (coffee ready, lobby welcoming, details in place)
  • Be the reliable overnight presence our guests and team depend on

Requirements

Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Great attention to detail
  • Thorough organizational skills, proficient in accomplishing all tasks
  • Considerable knowledge of computer systems for registration, reservations and backup systems
  • Above average mathematical comprehension to understand and interpret numbers as they apply to operations in hotels
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with employees and guests
  • Ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers, some of whom will require a high level of patience, tact and diplomacy, to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts
  • Ability to work while standing for extended periods of time
