Controlling Manager Automotive APAC Region

Responsibilities:
Business Steering & Performance Management: Own regional financial performance management for the Automotive Business Unit and its sub-segments across region Asia and Pacific , covering Profit and Loss , Key Performance Indicators and value drivers; lead monthly performance analysis and reviews, with direct operational responsibility for Suzhou and regional oversight of Korea and Thailand, and drive corrective actions with the business.
Business Partnership: Act as business partner to the local, regional and global Business Unit Management Teams; support operational decisions, investment proposals, pricing and margin discussions, productivity initiatives and strategic projects with financial analysis and controlling insights; challenge business assumptions, strategies and key initiatives.
Profitability & Value Creation: Monitor and analyze customer and product profitability, pricing, cost structure, working capital and capacity utilization; identify cost drivers and value creation opportunities, and drive actionable improvement initiatives.
Cost Controlling & Optimization: Identify cost drivers and improvement opportunities within Suzhou AF operations, including manufacturing cost, material cost, conversion cost and productivity performance; monitor cost-saving initiatives and support the implementation of corrective actions.
Planning and forecasting: Lead the regional planning and forecasting process for the Business Unit, ensure high-quality and forward-looking forecasts, and proactively identify, quantify and communicate key risks and opportunities. Provide regional oversight and coordination through standardized reporting and review of major deviations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. A master’s degree or Certified Public Accountant/Certified Management Accountant is preferred.
At least 10 years of experience in Finance & Controlling ideally in financial management, controlling, or related roles within the automotive industry or in a manufacturing environment.
Solid analytical skills with ability to breakdown complex issues into key business drivers and excellent business acumen and critical thinking skills; brings solutions to business issues (not just financials).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
English fluent in speech and writing and very good knowledge of MS-Office, Applications and Products in Data Processing Systems/Business Intelligence.
