Pool Driver

Job Description:

• Responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of personnel and goods for SD Guthrie Berhad, ensuring timely and reliable service.

• Operate company vehicles including company corporate bus in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.

• Transport employees, clients, and materials to designated locations promptly and efficiently.

• Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition, reporting any maintenance issues or defects.

• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and transportation activities.

• Assist with loading and unloading goods as required.

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, passengers, and other team members.

• Handle unexpected situations or problems on the road with professionalism and sound judgment.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

• Adhere to company safety procedures and protocols at all times.

Job Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Valid Malaysian Licence competent driving Licence (CDL) class E.

• Valid PSV (Public Service Vehicle) Licence - Bus.

• Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a corporate or pool car setting.

• Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with passengers and colleagues clearly.

• Ability to anticipate and evaluate potential road hazards or logistical challenges.

• Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and routine maintenance.

• Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns.

• Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethics.
