About the Role

Description

Program Manager, S&OP Supply Chain

New Hope, MN — MMT Customer Experience Center | Exempt, Full-Time

At MMT, we're focused on building excellence into everything we do: automation, machine design, material handling, and custom tooling. Every role here comes down to the same three things: being accountable, staying responsive, and finding the right solution, not just any solution.

We're looking for a Program Manager, S&OP Supply Chain to take on a big, cross-functional piece of that: master data, inventory optimization, procurement effectiveness, and continuous improvement, all in one seat. You'll be the connective tissue between our data, our commercial strategy, and how supply chain actually runs day to day, owning our Master Data Management program while leading the work that keeps inventory tight and our purchasing power working in our favor.

If you're someone who can dig into a messy dataset one hour and pitch a bigger strategic fix the next, always asking where the inefficiency is hiding and how to close it, this role was built for you. It's based out of our Customer Experience Center in New Hope, MN.

What you'll do

We're looking for someone to support our S&OP organization with a broad mandate: master data, inventory, procurement, and continuous improvement. You'll be the link between our data, our commercial strategy, and how supply chain actually runs day to day.

  • Own our Master Data Management (MDM) program, including how we govern, clean up, and quality-check the data that drives planning across the business.
  • Dig into inventory: trends, turns, working capital, and where we're carrying too much or too little, and turn that into real targets and action plans.
  • Find opportunities to buy smarter, whether that's consolidating spend, negotiating better terms, or tracking whether savings we identified actually stuck.
  • Lead continuous improvement work across supply chain, from spotting the root cause of a problem through to implementing and measuring the fix.
  • Partner closely with Demand Planning, Commercial, Finance, and IT so the broader S&OP process has the visibility it needs.

A lot of this role comes down to three questions: Is our data right? Do we have the right inventory in the right place? Are we buying in the smartest way possible? If chasing those questions down sounds like a good problem to have, this is a good fit.

What you'll bring

  • A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field is preferred — we'll also consider an equivalent mix of education and experience.
  • 5+ years in supply chain, procurement, inventory management, S&OP, or business analytics is preferred, ideally with some exposure to master data or data governance.
  • Comfortable working across ERP systems, master data, and BI tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Strong analytical chops: you can take messy data and turn it into a clear recommendation someone can act on.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects, and communication skills to work well with Commercial, Finance, Operations, Procurement, and IT.

Nice to have

  • Experience setting up or running an MDM or data governance program.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems.
  • SQL skills, or comfort with other analytical tools beyond Excel/Power BI/Tableau.
  • APICS/ASCM certification (CSCP, CPIM) or similar.
  • Experience working in a high-growth or complex, multi-product environment.

A few practical details

  • This is an exempt, full-time role based at our New Hope, MN Customer Experience Center.
  • The work itself is mostly desk-based and analytical, though you'll spend some time on our demo floor supporting customer visits and training.
  • Travel isn't a regular part of this job, but it may come up now and then for cross-functional work at other MMT sites.

Pay and benefits

The salary range for this role is $99,086 to $153,583, with actual pay depending on your experience and the capabilities you show through the interview process.

We offer full benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, employer-paid life/AD&D and short- and long-term disability, plus a range of ancillary benefits. You'll also get up to a 4% employer match on your 401(k), a tuition reimbursement program, a scholarship program for dependents (including grandchildren and children under legal guardianship), an employee referral bonus program, and ongoing development opportunities.

Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this role. If you require an accommodation during the application or interview process, please contact Human Resources.
