VNA is looking for a Palliative Licensed Vocational Nurse. 

Job Summary: The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will work under the direction of the patient’s physician and RN Case Manager to deliver individualized care, support the plan of treatment, and promote comfort, independence, and quality of life. 

Responsibilities include assessing and monitoring the patient’s status, promptly reporting changes in condition to the RN Case Manager or Clinical Supervisor. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with applicable laws and agency standards. Monitors and maintains appropriate medical supplies and coordinates replenishments as needed. 

Status: Full-Time 

Education/Experience/Skills/Qualifications: 

  • Current California Vocational Nurse license
  • CPR Certification
  • At least one year of LVN experience; experience in a home health, hospice, or applicable program preferred

Special Requirements: 

  • Current California driver's license
  • Auto insurance
  • Reliable vehicle

The compensation range for this role is determined by factors such as location and required skills. The salary range provided reflects the lowest to highest amount we reasonably anticipate paying for this position at the time of posting. Compensation is influenced by labor market conditions and various factors, including but not limited to: prevailing minimum wage in the area, relevant education, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, sales or revenue targets, and business needs. It is not typical for a new hire to be offered the highest end of the salary range. Pay decisions are based on the unique circumstances of each candidate and position.
