About the Role

Description

LOCATION: Netherwood Elementary School in Hyde Park, NY

PAY: $16.50 per hour

SCHEDULE: Follows the school calendar

Morning Program: 7:00 - 9:45 am

Afternoon Program: 3:30 - 6:30 pm

Opportunities available for morning, afternoon, or both programs.

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Supervisor for our Before and After School Program at our Netherwood Elementary School location for the 2026–2027 school year.

What Success Looks Like

  • Program Quality: Kids are engaged, safe, and having fun every day; the program reflects Healthy Kids Program’s model and families consistently choose to re-enroll
  • Staffing: The site is fully staffed every day; teachers are prepared, supported, and showing up for the kids
  • Compliance: The site operates in ratio at all times; records are accurate and current; the program is ready for inspection on any given day
  • Inventory: The site is well-stocked with the supplies and materials teachers need; nothing runs out mid-week; restocking happens before it becomes a problem

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 13.
  • Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
  • Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
