Construction Sales Estimator

Alex Torres Construction LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Construction Sales Estimator to prepare accurate project estimates, develop competitive bids, and build strong relationships with clients and General Contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate construction estimates and competitive bids.
• Review plans, drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and calculate labor, material and equipment costs.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Develop project budgets and support project administration.
• Generate new business and maintain relationships with clients and General Contractors.
• Conduct customer meetings and project site visits.
• Maintain bid logs and support project management activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of construction estimating experience.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience.
• Experience with private and DOT projects.
• Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
• Strong Excel, Microsoft Office, communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
