Salary: $102,657 - $116,592 (Plus 12.5%25 Super)

About the Role:

We are looking for a practical, hands-on Technical Officer to join the Clinical Technology Workshop, supporting the manufacture, modification, maintenance and repair of prosthetic and orthotic devices, wheelchairs, seating systems, mobility aids and medical grade footwear. Working alongside an experienced Prosthetics and Orthotics (P&O) team, this role offers a unique opportunity to apply technical trade skills while contributing to improved mobility, function and independence for clients across the ACT.

 

 

We are seeking someone who:

• 

Has strong practical skills. Experience in fabrication, modification, maintenance and repair of assistive technology and clinical devices would be desirable.

• 

Enjoys working closely with experienced clinicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality client outcomes.

• 

Is motivated to learn, develop new skills and grow within a specialised clinical technology environment.

• 

Takes pride in quality workmanship, problem-solving and client-focused service delivery.

 

 

Please note: This position is being recruited initially to backfill a period of long service leave. There is also potential for the role to become a longer-term career opportunity, aligned with the future operational requirements and workforce needs of the business area.
