About the Role
Your mission
Hey there and welcome to your new opportunity with us.Being a Plant Electrical Project Engineer is an exciting task, since you are the superhero, our clients need. You know what setup of our solutions will satisfy their needs; therefore, these here are your most important tasks:
- Manage electrical engineering activities for factory construction, expansion and modernization projects.
- Coordinate the planning, design and implementation of electrical systems for the plant.
- Review electrical drawings, technical specifications and electrical design solutions, including power load calculations and equipment selection.
- Supervise electrical installation works on site, including quality, schedule and safety.
- Coordinate electrical requirements for HVAC, compressed air systems and other facility equipment.
- Organise electrical system commissioning, testing and handover.
- Coordinate with design institutes, contractors, suppliers and local utility companies.
- Support power connection, inspection and energisation processes.
- Maintain electrical technical documentation and support operation and maintenance handover.
Your profile
All right, all right, so I hope you are now aware of what is up for you, what background should you have in order to feel comfortable with this role? Keep in mind it`s all about electrical equipment, that`s the reason why it is essential for you to have:- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Systems, Automation or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering/project management in industrial plants, manufacturing facilities or large-scale buildings.
- Good knowledge of MV/LV electrical distribution systems, transformers, switchgear, UPS and related equipment.
- Experience with 10 kV or higher voltage systems is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of electrical installation standards and applicable Polish regulations.
- Ability to read and review electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience in managing contractors and coordinating multi-disciplinary construction activities.
- Valid SEP G1 E/D qualification is an advantage; qualifications covering MV systems above 1 kV are particularly relevant to this position.
- Good command of English (B2 or above); Polish is an advantage.
- Strong project management, communication and problem-solving skills.
