About the Role
Your mission
Hey there and welcome to your new opportunity with us.Being a Maintenance & Automation Engineer is an exciting task, since you are the superhero, our clients need. You know what setup of our solutions will satisfy their needs; therefore, these here are your most important tasks:
- Responsible for the installation, commissioning and ramp-up of production lines and equipment, including issue tracking, improvement and verification to ensure equipment is introduced according to plan.
- Responsible for the daily maintenance, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of automated production equipment to ensure stable operation.
- Diagnose and repair common electrical and mechanical equipment failures, including issues related to servo systems, stepper motors, pneumatic components and transmission systems.
- Perform electrical wiring checks, component replacement and circuit commissioning based on electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Analyse equipment breakdown data and implement improvement and optimisation measures.
- Prepare and maintain equipment-related technical documents, such as maintenance instructions and equipment inspection standards.
- Manage equipment spare parts inventory and coordinate with suppliers regarding spare parts delivery.
- Improve equipment availability and OEE and reduce equipment failure rates.
- Perform other related tasks assigned by the supervisor. Facility management - coordination with contractors / suppliers any maitenance needs for all facilities (also offices)
Your profile
All right, all right, so I hope you are now aware of what is up for you, what background should you have in order to feel comfortable with this role? Keep in mind it`s all about electrical equipment, that`s the reason why it is essential for you to have:- Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial automation, electrical design/commissioning, equipment management or production line maintenance. Candidates with experience in KUKA robots, laser welding or dispensing/gluing equipment may be considered with relevant experience.
- Strong equipment troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve PLC-related issues.
- Proficient in Siemens PLC programming and troubleshooting using STEP 7 / TIA Portal.
- Good knowledge of low-voltage electrical components, servo systems, frequency converters and industrial communication networks such as Profinet.
- Good knowledge of pneumatic components such as cylinders, solenoid valves and air preparation units, including their selection, installation and maintenance.
- Good understanding of common mechanical transmission systems, such as belts, chains, ball screws and linear guides, including their adjustment and maintenance.
- Experience in AGV and robot programming or maintenance is an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills, with a strong service-oriented and proactive approach.
- Valid SEP G1 D qualification for electrical equipment up to 1 kV is an advantage.
- Willingness to work overtime when required by production needs.
- English or Polish proficiency sufficient for daily work communication; strong English communication skills are preferred.
