Mechanic B

Description

· Repairs vending machines (Snack, Coffee, or Grainger) based on sales/work order requirements

· Replaces defective parts of components and system such as tubing and electrical circuits; makes necessary modifications on machines

· Periodically overhauls machines, which may include but is not limited to reconnecting loose wires, checking refrigeration systems for maintenance of proper temperatures. Inspects interior of machine, checks for defects; ensures wire harnesses are tied together and checks for short circuiting and replaces line cord with GFCI protection

· Verify that all functions of the machine work properly including the following: price & test vend all machine motors, coin test machine, test operation of drop sensor, delivery bucket, and make adjustments as necessary

· Install wires, trays, coin mechs, and validators

· Troubleshooting various issues related to equipment being produced

· Ensure machine is clean and any scratches are painted / repaired

· Accountable for the overall quality of the equipment being produced down the line

· Follows company protocol to rectify poor quality

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements

· Knowledge and experience with Vending equipment required

· Problem solver

· Critical thinking skills required to diagnose and fix vending machines;

· Attention to detail is imperative;

· Must be able to multi-task;

· Must be able to follow a production schedule 

· Must be efficient with a desire to succeed;

· Prior experience using hand tools, pneumatic tools and cordless hand tools;

· Ability to follow direction
