- That Accounting is more than processing transactions—it is about providing the information leaders need to operate confidently.
- That great accounting leaders balance accuracy, accountability, collaboration, and service.
- That strong communication between Accounting, Operations, department leaders, and ownership keeps the hotel running smoothly.
- That protecting the integrity of the hotel's financial information is a responsibility worth taking seriously.
You’re a great fit for this role if you love...
- Leading and supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the hotel.
- Reviewing general ledger activity, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and supporting documentation.
- Monitoring accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, credit card activity, and other key accounting functions.
- Partnering with department leaders to understand financial results, identify trends, and support effective decision-making.
- Maintaining strong internal controls and ensuring financial policies and procedures are followed.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Identifying discrepancies, investigating variances, and helping solve problems before they become bigger problems.
- Preparing information and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Working closely with Operations to ensure financial processes support the guest experience rather than getting in its way.
- Finding opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and make the numbers easier for everyone to understand.
- Keeping a calm, organized approach when month-end, payroll, audits, and hotel operations all seem to happen at the same time.
We’re excited to have you join us because...
- You understand that accurate financial information is the foundation for good business decisions.
- You have strong knowledge of hotel accounting principles and financial processes.
- You are highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- You have a strong eye for detail and aren't afraid to ask questions when something doesn't look right.
- You can analyze financial information and communicate what it means in a clear, practical way.
- You are comfortable holding yourself and others accountable for accuracy and follow-through.
- You can build strong working relationships with department leaders while maintaining appropriate financial controls.
- You are comfortable working independently while also being an active partner to the hotel leadership team.
- You approach challenges with curiosity and look for solutions rather than simply identifying problems.
- You believe leadership means supporting your team, developing talent, and setting clear expectations.
- You bring integrity, discretion, dependability, and a service-first mindset to your work.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

- Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
- Experience with hotel accounting systems and/or property management systems preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive financial and employee information.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Accounting team members, hotel leadership, department leaders, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to manage deadlines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced hotel environment.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis preferred.
- Experience with payroll and audit processes preferred.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods and perform routine office and accounting functions.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the hotel as needed.
