Off-Road Haul Truck Driver – Mining / Quarry

Description
Rock Pros USA is hiring an Off-Road Haul Truck Driver for our Upper Bell quarry in Arizona. We are looking for a dependable operator to safely transport material throughout an active surface mining and rock crushing operation.
This is an off-road quarry haul truck position, not an over-the-road driving position. This is also a hands-on crew environment. Our operators are expected to get out of the cab and help with quarry and plant work when needed.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate an off-road haul truck in an active mining and quarry environment.
- Transport rock and material between loading, dumping, stockpile, crusher, and production areas.
- Follow designated haul routes, traffic patterns, speed requirements, and dumping procedures.
- Perform required pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections.
- Immediately report equipment malfunctions, unusual conditions, or safety concerns.
- Safely position the haul truck for loading and dumping.
- Maintain communication with loader operators, supervisors, and plant personnel.
- Follow all company safety procedures, site requirements, and MSHA regulations.
- Support daily production goals through safe and efficient equipment operation.
- Assist with cleanup, shoveling, plant maintenance, crusher cleanup, screen changes, and other general quarry duties as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Previous off-road haul truck or heavy equipment operating experience preferred.
- Mining, quarry, aggregate, rock crushing, construction, or similar heavy industrial experience preferred.
- Ability to safely operate heavy equipment around personnel and other mobile equipment.
- Ability to perform equipment inspections and identify/report potential equipment problems.
- Strong safety awareness and ability to follow established procedures.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a production crew.
- Willingness to perform general labor and plant-support duties when not operating equipment.
The Right Fit
We're looking for someone who understands that being an operator means being part of the entire quarry crew. If you're comfortable operating a haul truck safely and willing to jump in and help the team when needed, we want to hear from you.
