Lactalis US Yogurt, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Packager / Palletizer based in Casa Grande, Arizona. 


The Packager / Palletizer supports yogurt production by inspecting, packaging, and palletizing finished products according to quality, food safety, and production standards. This role also ensures products are properly prepared for storage and shipment while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.


 The  Packager / Palletizer starts at $19.80 / hour, plus shift differentials.  This is a full-time opportunity, 12-hour shifts (06:00 PM to 06:30 AM), on a 2 – 2 – 3 rotation.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Works on assigned line to assist with the packaging of yogurt containers by way of machine and/or hand packing.
  • Receives and organize products from the production line into defined patterns or layers for palletizing.
  • Stack products onto pallets accurately to the required height and stability.
  • Handle pallets automatically, including empty pallet supply, load discharge, and basic system controls and safety standards.
  • Upholds quality, safety, and cleanliness standards within designated areas.
  • Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient plant operations.
  • Set-up oncoming shift for successful run.
  • Expected to perform any duties necessary to support the team.
  • Obtain information necessary to perform duties at pre-shift meetings and at post-shift meetings with off-going associates.
  • Vigilantly monitor equipment operation for indications of impending problems and possible operational improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience 

  • High School diploma or GED, and 3 to 6 months of related experience.

Skills / Abilities / Knowledge

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Must have the ability to write simple correspondence and complete manufacturing documentation completely. Ability to effectively present information to other employees.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 
  • Regularly required to stand, use hands and stretch and reach with hands and arms.  
  • Frequently is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. 
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance and smell. 
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. 
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. 
  • Must have full range of body motion.
