The Position -
An opportunity currently exists for an CNC Data Entry Clerk, with a competitive hourly rate plus overtime and benefits (after a probationary period). The position is based in Nisku, Alberta.
The Ideal Candidate -
The responsibility of the CNC Data Entry Clerk is to prepare cnc files from in-house generated models for various steel fabrication equipment.
This includes the following:
- Using Raptor to create cnc files from Tekla
- Using Peddinest to nest cnc plate programs from Tekla
- Using Tekla generated drawings to verify cnc files are accurate
- Assist Purchasing department to prepare IFC drawing packages including material cutlists, construction drawings and other project documentation to the shops
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- A minimum of one (1) years of similar experience; ideally within a Structural Steel environment
- Excellent computer skills; Tekla, Peddinest, Peddimat & Raptor experience is a strong asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working independently and handling high volume work demands
- Ability to multi task on various projects at the same time and manage the priorities
- Should be extremely professional, reliable and organized
- Ability to maintain a good working relationship across all levels
