POSITION PURPOSE

Responsible for reviewing all account holds placed under the regulation for Delayed Funds Availability.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  • Pull the daily reports of the holds placed for the prior business day.
  • Review each hold to make sure the hold is placed within the regulatory guidelines.
  • Make corrections if needed. This may include contacting the banking center to verify or discuss any changes.
  • Prepare a Notice of Delayed Availability if an exception hold was placed. Prepare these letters to be mailed same day.
  • Perform secondary reviews when needed.
  • This individual will monitor the Support-Reg CC email box and assist banking centers via telephone with any question regarding holds.
  • Main the monthly spreadsheet of each days holds and holds with errors.
  • Will cross-train with other department associates for other various duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role does not have supervisory duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High school graduate or equivalent. 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: General knowledge of Microsoft products. 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Prior banking or related experience preferred.

SKILLS/ABILITIES: Positive, professional, and courteous interactions with banking center associates Good organizational skills. Detail oriented

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION

TALKING: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.

AVERAGE HEARING: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.

REPETITIVE MOTION: Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

AVERAGE VISUAL ABILITIES: Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery.

PHYSICAL STRENGTH: Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally. (Almost all office jobs.)

WORKING CONDITIONS

NONE: No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions (such as in a typical office). 

MENTAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data establish facts and draw conclusions. Able to interpret a variety of technical instructions and can deal with multiple variables.

MATHEMATICS ABILITY:  Ability to compute discount, interest, profit, and loss; commission markup and selling price; and ratio, proportion, and percentage. Able to perform very simple algebra.

LANGUAGE ABILITY: Ability to read periodicals, journals, manuals, dictionaries, thesauruses, and encyclopedias.


Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
40 hours per week.
