Incobrasa is a soybean processing and biodiesel manufacturing company in Central Illinois with roots in the industry going back over 50 years. With a long company history focused on agriculture, our business efforts expanded from Brazil to the United States in 1982. We process soybeans. Year-round, all day, every day. Our process and systems are cutting edge, consisting of our shipping & receiving facilities, high-volume grain dryer, 8 concrete 190,000 bushel silos and multiple facilities including soybean preparation, oil extraction, refinery, food-grade oil packaging and biodiesel production. We have a long-standing relationship with our suppliers of soybeans. Our soybeans are sourced from a number of local elevators and suppliers in Illinois and surrounding states.

- Animal Feed. Animal feed made from soybeans is the most important protein source used to feed farm animals. As a soybean processor, large quantities of soybean meal and soybean hull pellets are produced as a by-product of oil extraction.
- Vegetable Oil. Incobrasa operates a state-of-the-art packaging and labeling facility that features various production lines of bottled and canned vegetable oil.
- Biodiesel. Incobrasa is a member of the National Biodiesel Board. We are BQ-9000 and RFS certified, with an annual production capacity of 44 million gallons. Biodiesel is a renewable biofuel that is clean-burning and offers a replacement or supplement to regular diesel fuel.
Barge- Pekin, IL
- Incobrasa recently acquired a barge operation in Pekin. Grain barge operation is a vital component of the agricultural supply chain, facilitating the efficient transportation of bulk grain.

- We receive, store, and transport Soybeans and Corn. Our corn capacity is 1,200,000 bushels, and our soybean capacity is 1,400,000.
About the Role:
The Payroll Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of payroll administration, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes in compliance with federal and state regulations. The specialist will collaborate closely with HR and finance teams to maintain payroll records and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise. By leveraging payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now, the Payroll Specialist ensures data integrity and confidentiality throughout the payroll cycle. Ultimately, this role supports organizational efficiency by delivering precise payroll services that contribute to employee satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience processing payroll for a small to mid-sized company.
- Proficiency with payroll software systems, specifically ADP Workforce Now.
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations at the federal and state levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification as a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC).
- Familiarity with multi-state payroll processing and state-specific tax nuances.
- Advanced Excel skills for payroll data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with payroll audit processes and internal controls.
Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule using ADP Workforce Now.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, wage changes, benefits deductions, and tax status.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies by coordinating with HR, finance, and employees as needed.
- Prepare and submit required payroll reports and filings to government agencies in a timely manner.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and tax information with professionalism and accuracy.
- Assist with year-end payroll processes such as W-2 and ACA preparation and distribution.
Skills:
Expertise in payroll processes to deliver efficient and accurate payroll runs, minimizing errors and delays. Strong analytical skills are applied to reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies, ensuring financial accuracy. Communication skills are essential when collaborating with HR, finance, and employees to address payroll inquiries and maintain clear documentation. Additionally, proficiency in payroll software and state tax regulations supports the preparation of detailed reports and compliance filings, contributing to the organization's operational success.
