Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced Architect / Solution Designer with a strong background in .NET technologies and deep expertise in Financial Crime domains, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), Transaction Monitoring, Fraud Detection, and Regulatory Compliance.
This role will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that support financial crime prevention initiatives. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, compliance teams, and engineering squads to define architecture, establish best practices, and drive successful solution delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end architecture solutions for Financial Crime, AML, KYC, Fraud Detection, and Compliance platforms.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate regulatory and business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Define and maintain architecture standards, governance frameworks, and technology roadmaps.
- Lead application modernization initiatives using microservices, cloud-native architectures, and modern engineering practices.
- Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure solutions meet security, regulatory, performance, resilience, and scalability requirements.
- Drive integration strategies across enterprise systems, data platforms, third-party vendors, and compliance solutions.
- Conduct architecture reviews, design assessments, and technology evaluations.
- Support regulatory and audit requirements by ensuring adherence to compliance and governance standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, solution design, or enterprise architecture roles.
- Experience with Microsoft .NET / .NET Core technologies.
- Proven experience delivering solutions within Financial Crime, AML, KYC, Fraud Detection, Transaction Monitoring, or Financial Compliance domains.
- Deep understanding of enterprise application architecture patterns and best practices.
- Experience designing and implementing microservices-based architectures.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with API design, event-driven architectures, messaging frameworks, and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of security, authentication, authorization, and regulatory compliance requirements within financial services.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
