About The Company
Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity has been building homes, hope, and stronger communities in Northwest Vermont since 1984. Serving Chittenden, Franklin, Grand Isle, and Lamoille counties, we partner with families in need to provide safe, energy-efficient, and affordable housing. Our homeowners don’t just move in—they help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage, creating stability, self-reliance, and a true sense of community. Our construction capacity is growing. Our partnerships with municipalities, businesses, volunteers, and donors are more important than ever. And the families we serve represent the backbone of Vermont—teachers, caregivers, tradespeople, and early-career professionals—people who make our communities work. Through volunteering, donations, or advocacy, anyone can make a real difference. Together, we are building much more than homes. We are building stability, dignity, community, and hope.
