The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Procurement and Inventory Manager to lead our warehouse and inventory operations.
This position plays an important role in ensuring that materials, equipment, and supplies are available when and where they are needed. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who brings strong business judgment, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a commitment to accountability.
You’ll oversee the day-to-day warehouse operation while helping improve inventory processes, vendor relationships, material availability, and overall efficiency across BSGI.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and coordinate warehouse personnel responsible for purchasing, shipping, receiving, distribution, and inventory control.
- Plan, organize, and oversee daily warehouse operations to support company and project needs.
- Monitor project material requirements and product lead times to help achieve efficient, just-in-time delivery.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels while balancing product availability and cost.
- Oversee inventory across four locations, including the warehouse, company vehicles, and remote offices.
- Manage annual inventory cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Coordinate month-end and year-end inventory reporting.
- Process material requisitions and change orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain current vendor and product pricing within company inventory and pricing systems.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships with an emphasis on quality, service, value, and ethical business practices.
- Manage manufacture quotas; coordinate with sales and leadership to ensure targets are met.
- Assist with vendor evaluation and negotiation to support purchasing and operational goals.
- Coordinate the appropriate disposal of obsolete or surplus materials.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse and inventory processes, controls, and efficiencies.
- Promote organization, accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement throughout warehouse operations.
- Manage fleet vehicles to include onboard GPS monitoring system, EZPass, repairs, etc.
- Manage facilities team.

The ideal candidate will have
- A minimum of 3 years of inventory control, warehouse, or related experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build productive working relationships across departments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- The ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn inventory and business software systems.
- A strong commitment to accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- High ethical standards and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
