Stow-Kent Family Practice is seeking a Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about helping others and providing excellent patient-centered care. What You’ll Do

  • Perform physical exams and patient observations
  • Record patients' medical histories and symptoms
  • Create patient care plans and contributing to existing ones
  • Order and analyze diagnostic tests
  • Diagnose health issues
  • Detect changes in patients' health and modifying treatment plans, as needed
  • Educate patients and their families to manage and prevent illness and injury
  • Collaborate with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of the patients



What We’re Looking For

  • Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program
  • APN authorization in Ohio to practice in family health by the Board of Nurse Examiners
  • Prescriptive authorization
  • Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records and information systems
  • A sound understanding of all pertinent federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of disease processes and prevention
