Description
Our busy café is looking for an additional team member to help deliver a warm welcome, great food, and outstanding service to our guests. We’re a small, friendly team that enjoys working together to serve our staff, members, and visitors.
The café is open Monday–Saturday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM, and Sunday, 11:00 AM–4:00 PM. We’re looking for team members who are excited to be part of our café during these daytime hours.
All staff are trained and are responsible to:
- Greet customers and take their orders via our Point of Sale system
- Prepare, cook and serve food and beverages
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized cafe environment
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensue customer satisfaction

Requirements
- Previous cafe or food service experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer familiarity a must
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must be responsible, friendly, hardworking and self-motivated
- Able to freely move around the small space, go up and down stairs; lift 25 lbs; and stand for long periods of time.
