About the Role

Description

Kendall Auto Group is one of the largest family owned and operated dealers in the Pacific Northwest and premier employer in Eugene, Oregon. At Kendall Ford of Eugene, our service department is a fast-paced environment serving clients throughout the community. We are looking for a Mobile Service Technician who is responsible, proactive, personable, and thrives in an independent work setting.


Job duties:

Travels to customer locations (homes or offices) to perform on-site vehicle maintenance and repairs using a fully equipped mobile service van. This customer-facing role requires strong automotive diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


Core Responsibilities

On-Site Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance such as oil and filter changes, battery replacements, fluid exchanges, tire rotations, software updates, recalls, brake services, and wiper replacements.


Diagnostics & Repairs: Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, execute warranty repairs, and perform recalls to manufacturer specifications.


Software & Tech: Handle software updates, diagnostic scanning, and accessory installations.

Customer Service: Interact directly with clients to explain vehicle conditions, provide repair estimates, and deliver invoices, complimentary professional multi-pint vehicle inspections with pictures and video


Inventory & Van Management: Keep the mobile service vehicle clean, organized, and adequately stocked with the necessary tools and parts

Requirements

You must have ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions. A valid driver license and good driving record are required.
