Park Place of Elmhurst is an elegant five-star community conveniently located across the street from Edward Elmhurst hospital. Here at Park Place of Elmhurst, we offer a continuum of care with the security of lifecare. Our residents also have access to assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and memory support right on campus. We are seeking a compassionate and service-oriented Healthcare Concierge to join our senior living community. This role serves as a welcoming presence for residents, families, and visitors, ensuring a supportive, respectful, and engaging environment. The Healthcare Concierge plays a key role in enhancing the overall resident experience by assisting with daily needs, coordinating services, and fostering meaningful connections.
Hours:
Every Friday: 4:00–8:00 PM
Every Other Weekend: Saturday 8:00 AM–2:00 PM and Sunday 2:00 PM–8:00 PM

- The ability to handle stressful situations with a calm demeanor and pleasant manner
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation and comfort level working with seniors
- Effective multitasker, handling work orders, guest suite reservations, and resident accommodations efficiently
- Capable of managing and sharing information as appropriate to ensure resident needs are met in a timely manner
- Superior organization skills
- Adept at maintaining discretion and professionalism
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite software, and comfortable with computer systems
Requirements
- Have at least 2-4 years of experience in customer service/relations
- Must enjoy working with seniors. Have a desire to work with and make a daily difference in the lives of the geriatric population.
- Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities and have excellent time management and organizational skills and be able to meet deadlines
- Possess good public relations, communication, general office, clerical and telephone skills
- Must be independent and self-motivated.
- Responsible in assisting all staff to proactively ensure resident needs are met
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to relate well to residents and their families
- Have a neat, professional, courteous manner and appearance.
- Be friendly, compassionate, and empathetic to all customers and prospects
Preferred Skills
- Experience in senior living, assisted living, or memory care settings
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to build trust and meaningful relationships with residents and families
