About The Company
At Banyan Pulmonary Services, we partner with skilled nursing facilities to ensure residents with pulmonary related diagnoses receive comprehensive, multidisciplinary care delivered with consistency, clinical excellence, and compassion. As a third party pulmonology partner, we provide oversight and treatment for residents with chronic and complex respiratory conditions. We help facilities strengthen outcomes while supporting day to day care delivery. We focus on bringing reliable pulmonary expertise to the bedside, especially in environments where respiratory needs can be under recognized or difficult to manage without dedicated specialist support. Why “Banyan”? The banyan tree, native to India, is known for strength, longevity, and its unique way of growing. Its roots descend from its branches, take hold in the ground, and form new trunks, creating a wide, interconnected canopy that can shelter an entire community. Across Indian culture and beyond, the banyan represents resilience, community, and shelter. For us, that meaning is personal and practical. It mirrors how we strive to show up for residents and facility teams. Deep roots reflect stable, long term partnership. Many trunks from one tree reflect our RTs, Team Leads, and coordinators working together under one canopy of care. Shade and refuge reflect our goal to be a steady, calming presence for residents, families, and staff. We chose Banyan Pulmonary Services because this image reflects our commitment to be strong, enduring, and deeply connected to the people and teams we serve. 📍 We currently serve skilled nursing facilities across the southeastern United States and are prepared to expand into new regions where high quality pulmonary care is needed.
About the Role

Description

This isn't your typical RT job.

For nearly 30 years, respiratory therapy has been missing from long-term care. We're bringing it back.

This is a new model of care — where you're not just treating symptoms, you're owning outcomes. You work with the same residents every day, track their progress, and build real relationships. No passing through like in a hospital. No hospital grind. Just respiratory care done right, with the time and autonomy to actually do it.

If you've ever wanted to see your impact over weeks and months instead of a single shift — this is it.

What you'll do

  • Provide hands-on respiratory care — nebs, assessments, airway clearance, and more
  • Track resident progress and adjust care plans over time
  • Partner directly with nursing and physicians to improve outcomes
  • Be the respiratory expert in the building

What you need

  • Active state and national RT license in good standing (RRT or CRT)
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved respiratory therapy program
  • Current BLS (or within 30 days of hire)
  • ACLS if working ventilator units (or within 6 months of hire)
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and the ability to work independently

Why Banyan

  • Consistent patients — you actually see improvement over time
  • Autonomy — you're the respiratory lead in the building
  • Support — we handle the backend (billing, scheduling, compliance) so you can focus on care
  • Growth — help build something new in post-acute respiratory care
  • Better pay + referral bonuses — bring your favorite coworkers with you

The role, practically

  • Setting: Travel between nearby partner facilities
  • Schedule: Depends on FT/PRN status; 7 am - 7 pm shifts
  • Physical: Frequent walking, standing, reaching and handling of respiratory equipment throughout the day

The bottom line This is relationship-based care with real outcomes. If you want to change how respiratory care is delivered in post-acute settings — apply. Banyan Pulmonary Services is an equal opportunity employer. We lead with integrity, serve with compassion, and innovate with purpose — ensuring every life we touch breathes easier. One Breath, One Team, One Act of Kindness at a Time.
