About The Company
At Mediix we connect highly skilled doctors, allied health and nursing professionals with opportunities across Australia - supporting healthcare providers in metro, regional and rural communities. inquiry@mediix.com.au
About the Role

Are you an Occupational Therapist who loves the intricate, rewarding work of hand therapy — the satisfaction of guiding someone from a stiff, painful post-op hand back to picking up their coffee cup, holding their child, or returning to the work they love? If so, we'd love to talk to you.

About the role You'll join a supportive, experienced team working across a rich hand therapy caseload — post-surgical rehabilitation, tendon and nerve injuries, fractures, arthritis, custom thermoplastic splinting, and complex upper limb conditions. Referrals come from orthopaedic and plastic surgeons, GPs, and private clients, so the variety and clinical depth are genuinely excellent.

What's on offer

  • Choice of 4 Melbourne clinic locations — pick what suits your commute and lifestyle
  • Competitive salary package, negotiated to reflect your experience
  • Dedicated CPD budget and paid study leave
  • Mentoring from senior hand therapists (AHTA members on the team)
  • A clear pathway toward AHTA Accredited Hand Therapist credentialling, if that's a goal
  • Modern, well-equipped clinics with dedicated splinting rooms
  • Genuine work–life balance — no weekends, sensible caseloads
  • Ongoing team support from a leadership group that actually listens

About you

  • AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist
  • Interest or experience in hand therapy (new grads with a genuine passion considered, as are experienced hand therapists looking for their next chapter)
  • Warm, professional, and genuinely enjoy building rapport with patients
  • Australian working rights
