Production Manager

Inland Homes has been building in Tampa since 1988. We are in the middle of the most significant shift in the company's recent history as we move from master-planned communities into tailored infill homes in South Tampa, priced between $1.6 and $2.5 million.
Every one of these homes is different. The property itself, the product selections, the colors and the finishes are all different. This is why we need someone dedicated to making sure our product and plan information is accurate.
The Role
This position is responsible for our product info and product and plan documents. Our option catalog, the takeoffs and pricing, and the plans, renderings and selection sheets our customers and our field teams use.
When a standard material changes, someone has to carry that change through every option and every takeoff before it gets to the job site. When a plan gets revised for a specific lot, someone has to make sure the blueprint, the rendering, the floor plan and the selection sheet all say the same thing accurately. That someone is the Production Coordinator.
What You Would Do
- Maintain our option catalog across every plan — adding, revising and retiring options, with verified takeoffs and current costs.
- Carry standard material changes through every affected option, takeoff and budget before they reach the field.
- Maintain the master set for every plan, and keep blueprints, renderings, floor plans, inclusion sheets and option catalogs accurate and consistent.
- Check field prints against the master set and the current truss package before they go out.
- Run a controlled release process for plan and option changes, so revisions arrive in batches rather than at random.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in residential production homebuilding, or a track record of learning a technical system quickly.
- Familiarity with the estimating process — you can read a takeoff and spot when something does not add up.
- You are comfortable working inside builder software — configuring plans, options and communities.
- You can read a blueprint against a rendering and see what does not line up.
- You are the kind of person who is bothered by two documents with conflicting information.
What We Offer
- A defined, well-scoped position. We mapped this role function by function so there are no grey areas when you're in training.
- Direct work on the highest-value product this company has ever built.
- A small team where your work is visible and where the standard is genuinely high.
- Competitive compensation, medical, dental and vision coverage, paid time off and holidays.
