About the Role

Delegat Marlborough winery is a large, modern state of the art facility with a 40,000-tonne capacity which houses all its equipment and facilities under one roof. Our team focus primarily on Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir varieties which are all harvested locally.

The opportunity

We are seeking dynamic and motivated people to join our team for a truly rewarding vintage experience.

Vintage Cellar Hands will be involved in various winemaking and cellar operations which include:

  • Grape receival and pressing
  • Clarification and inoculation
  • Fermentation management of red and white wines
  • Cooperage operations 
  • General cellar work, transfers, additions

Employment would commence late February 2027 through to mid-April 2027, for some people this would be extended to May 2027. Peak harvest operations will involve 12 hours per day, six days per week. We also guarantee a minimum of 30 hours a week before and after the harvest period. 

We have 40 positions Vintage Cellar Hand positions available. Pay rates for theses role will be based on experience and will range between $26.50 and $31.00 per hour.
