About the Role

About Us

For over 30 years, Mazzei Group has been delivering quality construction projects across Victoria. As the parent company of Mazzei, Harnest and Cecure, we bring expertise across social and affordable housing, luxury residential and specialist building services.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and practical HSE Advisor to support projects throughout North East Victoria. This is a site-focused position requiring regular travel across the region, including projects across Benalla, Wodonga, Shepparton and Seymour.

  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits and compliance reviews across multiple regional projects.

  • Support Site Managers, employees and trade partners in meeting their HSE responsibilities.

  • Identify unsafe conditions or behaviours and work with project teams to implement corrective actions.

  • Assist with inductions, toolbox talks, incident investigations and the review of site safety documentation.

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Mazzei Group Safety Management System.

About You

You are an approachable and solutions-focused safety professional who is comfortable working directly with construction teams and trade partners.

  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety and a current Construction Industry White Card.

  • Previous HSE experience within residential, medium-density, commercial or social infrastructure construction.

  • Strong knowledge of relevant HSE legislation and the ability to apply requirements practically on site.

  • Confident communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence positive safety behaviours.

  • A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly throughout North East Victoria.
