Below is the job description for open position

Responsibilities

Purchasing

  • Lead commodity planning and execution, including strategic supplier programs.

  • Develop and implement global commodity strategies to drive cost, quality, delivery, and technology objectives.

  • Drive cost reduction, cost avoidance, investment optimization, and productivity initiatives.

Supplier Management

  • Manage the supplier portfolio for assigned commodity categories.

  • Evaluate and audit suppliers to assess capabilities, performance, and compliance.

  • Monitor supplier performance through relevant KPIs and implement improvement actions where required.

  • Provide regular reporting on supplier performance and key risks.

Project Management

  • Define and implement purchasing strategies for new products and projects in alignment with global objectives.

  • Coordinate sourcing activities for new product development and key business projects.

  • Identify, select, and negotiate with strategic suppliers and establish competitive long-term agreements.

  • Support R&D with sourcing requirements and supplier selection.

  • Collaborate with Production and R&D to resolve supplier-related issues and disputes.

  • Ensure effective supply planning to support material availability and delivery requirements.

Your Profile:

  • 6 years of experience in Purchasing / Commodity in a semi-conductor OR industrial manufacturing sector

  • Master's / Bachelors in Engineering, Supply Chain or similar field

  • Experience in managing commodity categories and supplier networks across Asia and Europe.

  • Expertise in commodity strategy, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, etc.

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional, and fast-paced environment.

  • Fluent in English
