Below is the job description for open position
Responsibilities
Purchasing
Lead commodity planning and execution, including strategic supplier programs.
Develop and implement global commodity strategies to drive cost, quality, delivery, and technology objectives.
Drive cost reduction, cost avoidance, investment optimization, and productivity initiatives.
Supplier Management
Manage the supplier portfolio for assigned commodity categories.
Evaluate and audit suppliers to assess capabilities, performance, and compliance.
Monitor supplier performance through relevant KPIs and implement improvement actions where required.
Provide regular reporting on supplier performance and key risks.
Project Management
Define and implement purchasing strategies for new products and projects in alignment with global objectives.
Coordinate sourcing activities for new product development and key business projects.
Identify, select, and negotiate with strategic suppliers and establish competitive long-term agreements.
Support R&D with sourcing requirements and supplier selection.
Collaborate with Production and R&D to resolve supplier-related issues and disputes.
Ensure effective supply planning to support material availability and delivery requirements.
Your Profile:
6 years of experience in Purchasing / Commodity in a semi-conductor OR industrial manufacturing sector
Master's / Bachelors in Engineering, Supply Chain or similar field
Experience in managing commodity categories and supplier networks across Asia and Europe.
Expertise in commodity strategy, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, etc.
Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional, and fast-paced environment.
Fluent in English
