Summary/Objective
We are looking for a detail-driven Treasury & Financial Reporting Accountant to support our Controller in the day-to-day accounting operations for a growing $50M+ organization. This role interacts with our other accountants, drives the monthly close in NetSuite, and champions the use of AI tools to modernize and speed up our accounting processes. You will be a key partner in ensuring accurate financials while pushing our function toward greater efficiency and automation.

Essential Functions
- Support the Controller in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
- Own treasury areas of the general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting within NetSuite
- Serve as a NetSuite subject matter expert — maintain the chart of accounts, dimensions, saved searches, and reporting templates; troubleshoot issues and train staff
- Identify and implement opportunities to use AI tools (e.g., AI-assisted reconciliation, anomaly detection, automated variance analysis, natural-language reporting queries) to reduce manual work and improve close speed and accuracy
- Partner with the Controller to evaluate and roll out NetSuite automation features (workflows, scripting, saved search alerts) and AI-enabled add-ons/integrations
- Assist with audit support, schedules, and documentation for external auditors and tax preparers
- Help maintain and improve internal controls and standard operating procedures
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and process improvement projects as directed by the Controller

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, which must include specific experience with treasury management (banking and cash flow) and financial reporting
- Strong hands-on NetSuite experience required (GL, reconciliations, saved searches/reporting; scripting or SuiteAnalytics experience a plus)
- Genuine interest in and experience applying AI tools to accounting workflows — comfortable evaluating new tools and driving adoption with the team
- Solid understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes
- Strong communication and organizational skills; able to manage competing deadlines
- Experience in a private company environment a plus
Salary
$80,000.00- $95,000.00 - Depending on Experience.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. The “core” business hours for the organization are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional extended hours may be required during month-end close, audit periods, or urgent business needs.
Travel
This role is unlikely to require travel between offices.
