KSS Spanish Immersion Preschools provide a nurturing, play-based environment for children ages 2 to 6 (PK2 through Transitional Kindergarten) across four convenient Bay Area locations. Our Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum is fully immersive in Spanish, helping children develop confidence, creativity, and strong language skills alongside social and cognitive growth.   • You are a fluent Spanish-speaker and love being a Spanish-Immersion Preschool Teacher
    You are fluent in Spanish and enthusiastic about creating a language-rich, immersive environment. You naturally integrate Spanish throughout the day to support bilingual development and to honor language as an important part of children’s identity and expression.
  • You love being part of a team of dedicated teachers

YOUR ROLE AS A SPANISH-IMMERSION PRESCHOOL TEACHER


  • Create a safe and welcoming environment
    You create a warm, inclusive classroom where children feel a strong sense of belonging. You view relationships and the environment as central to learning, ensuring each child feels seen, accepted, and valued.
  • Support children’s well-being through responsive practice
    You support children’s physical, social, and emotional development through developmentally appropriate, child-centered practices. You use respectful, responsive language and collaborative problem-solving to guide children through their experiences.
  • Design meaningful learning experiences
    You co-construct learning experiences based on children’s interests, nurturing creativity, agency, and a strong sense of self. You encourage exploration, expression, and a joyful love of learning.
  • Partner with families
    You communicate thoughtfully with families about their child’s growth and learning through ongoing conversations and conferences, building strong, respectful partnerships.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • At least 12 ECE credits
  • At least 2 years of early childhood education experience
  • Be fully fluent in Spanish (written and spoken)
  • BA or MA in child development, or related field, strongly preferred
  • Experience with Reggio Emilia strongly preferred
  • For this role you will be also be required to pass a background check, provide a Health Screening Report completed by a physician, which includes your Immunization Record, Flu Vaccinations and current TB Test Results
