About the Role

Description

Are you a skilled, reliable, and safety-conscious individual with a knack for solving problems? Do you take pride in keeping spaces running smoothly? We're looking for a General Maintenance Technician to join our team and take on a hands-on role in ensuring that our commercial building is well-maintained and operates seamlessly.What You'll Do:

  • Perform regular maintenance and repairs on building systems, including painting, drywall patching, carpet tile replacement, plumbing, carpentry, and more.
  • Ensure all maintenance work meets industry standards and equipment manufacturer specifications.
  • Document all activities through our work order system, ensuring all tasks are completed in line with the lease and landlord obligations.
  • Respond to emergency repairs, assisting in unscheduled issues when needed.
  • Communicate effectively with tenants, visitors, and property management, ensuring clear and proactive communication.
  • Monitor and assist contractors on-site to ensure quality and safety.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.

Requirements

What You'll Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in commercial building operations, maintenance, or construction roles preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks that include standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
  • Ability to pass a company and government clearance background check.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
