About the Role

Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
Dept: Austin Emergency Dept
Shift: PRN, varied as Needed- min. 36 hours per 6 week schedule is required
Facility: Miami Valley Hospital

The Clinical Nurse-CN-Supp is a registered nurse (RN) who partners with and advocates for patients/families/significant others to provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support that impacts patient outcomes in a safe environment. The RN functions in a versatile role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence and autonomy in the practice of Nursing. The RN utilizes the nursing process in conjunction with evidence-based principles to care for a diverse caseload of patients within the department scope of service. The RN serves as a guide, healer, collaborator, teacher, leader, and sentry. The RN collaborates with and guides care delivered by the interprofessional team. The RN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, Nursing Code of Ethics, and applicable regulatory standards.



Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN Preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Valid Ohio RN license
Experience: Minimum 1 year of current Emergency Dept RN experience is required.
