About the Role

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly motivated Liquid Cooling Project Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced liquid cooling systems for Data Centres.
  • The candidate shall have a strong background in Thermal Management, Fluid dynamics and project coordination, with hands-on experience in Engineering complex cooling solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Deliveries

  • Lead liquid cooling system projects from concept to completion.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide design input.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing Engineers.
  • Review and approve designs for accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage Project timelines, Budgets and Deliverables.
  • Design / execution knowledge on HVAC Chilled water piping / Plumbing / Fireline piping execution experience.

Design & Development

  • Lead the design and development of Chilled Water piping systems including pipe sizing, layout, and material selection.
  • Perform complex hydraulic calculations and analysis to ensure system performance and efficiency.
  • Develop 2D/3D CAD models and engineering drawings using tools like AutoCAD, Creo & Revit. 

Testing & Validation

  • Create Test plans, simulate and validate cooling performance against system requirements.
  • Analyse test Data and iterate designs for performance improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry and safety standards.

Service & Operations Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Heat transfer, Thermodynamics and Fluid mechanics.
  • Understanding of the Control systems and Sensor integrations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and documentation skills.
  • Preventive Maintenance, Implementation of Bulletins, Troubleshooting and resolve complex issues at field level within SLA.
  • Mentoring / Developing the Team members.

Preferred Criteria:

Academic & Experience Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, ASME).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design principles and energy-efficient systems.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery.
